Join us for a FREE Viewing Party of TEDWomen 2013: “Invented Here”– celebrating inventors and designers; thinkers and makers; local problem-solvers and global leaders.
TEDxNapaValley invites you to join them for a free, independently organized viewing party allowing locals to take part and share in TEDWomen 2013 through the use of streaming video. Held open house-style at the studio of ToutSuite Social Club, the local webcast will allow attendees to see several of the talks given just hours earlier at TEDWomen 2013 in San Francisco. At 8 p.m., anyone can log on to ToutSuite’s social media platform www.toutsuite.com for a live discussion hosted by TEDxNapaValley to engage everyone in studio and from afar in a spirited sharing of thoughts and ideas about TEDWomen 2013. Some refreshments and small bites will be provided.
“Only a limited number of tickets to TEDWomen are available each year and are granted at the discretion of the TED team. The ticket price to attend TEDWomen is usually over $900, so we are pleased to be able to offer the community the opportunity to experience this event free of charge,” said TEDxNapaValley Co-Curator Sandina Bailo.
In San Francisco for the first time, TEDWomen 2013 will channel the bootstrap spirit of Silicon Valley to celebrate invention in all its forms. More than 150 TEDx events around the world will take part, including the TEDxNapaValley event, sharing talks around the theme “Invented Here”– celebrating inventors and designers; thinkers and makers; local problem-solvers and global leaders. Co-founded by CEO Susan Quinn, ToutSuite Social Club is a great local example of “Invented Here”, making it a fitting location and platform for this TEDxNapaValley event.
