This year’s theme “Past Presents Future / A History of the Next 20 Years“ will explore ideas in time; laying out both the radical ideas of today most likely to become a fundamental part of our future, and how past generations’ innovative ideas (often) inspire solutions for our greatest challenges. Five TEDtalks plus a few surprises will be presented, all tailored for the unique interests and demographics of Marin county.

Topics
Based on the recent survey of TEDxMarin membership, we will present talks exploring emerging and powerful new ideas in Science, Technology, Education and Medicine, from BioMimicry to 3D printing, to Personalized Medicine, to radical new approaches for Education and Happiness.
